It was a long climb to the top of the Tokyo Tower. That was exactly why Zane had taken the lift. The last occupant other than himself had just walked out the door and zane was left alone as the elevator climbed higher at an amazing pace towards the Tokyo Tower Pinacle where this mystery duelist whom had challenged him would appear. It had only been a day since his first duel against Saki, he certainly didn't intend on using the same deck here. That would be much to risky, he had also ruled out his Guardian and his newest trial deck. Leaving him with two options.
Synchro or Cloudian?
He decided to go on a spur of the moment thing and held both decks in his hand as he pproached the final leg of his upward journey. The bell inside the elevator dinged once, clear and bright as the doors infront of him opened to reveal the Tokyo Tower Dueling Arena at it's pinacle. The wind howled outside though Zane knew that him and this mystery duelist would be preotected by the architecture of the stadium. Now all thats was left was to wait and see, he was eager to duel.
Now lets see you face to face...

Demi entered the area. At first, she was worried that she will never find someone for a duel, but then again, here he is. But yet, here he is, the person who received her challenge. No point in going easy, since it is part of her mission to win, however, it doesn't mean that she couldn't have some fun before the duel.
She giggled playfully and asked, "You here for the duel?" Demi did wonder what this person is like, and hopefully, he isn't like that Raine person she met earlier. That guy was too... random for his own good.
The hunter has found her prey, and now it's the time to act swiftly, so she didn't wait for his response. Demi readied her Soul Disk, and when she did, a circle of light appeared on the floor. Within seconds, an emblem has appeared within the circle, signifying that her opponent's life energy was at stake.
She said in an ominous voice as she inserted her deck into the disc, "Where there is light, there is darkness. Let the light take your life and the darkness enter your soul." With that, the circle of light started pulsing. The pulsing light and the cryptic introduction was just for fun though, as they add nothing to the duel. It is, however, fun to see her opponent's reaction.
Demi then drew her initial hand. She set a monster and 1 card in the m/t zone before saying cheerfully, "Now, it will be your turn."

Zane looked strangely at the aura glowing lightly on the floor and shuddered. Something about this duel didn't seem quite right and something compelled him to put both the decks he had intended on using back in their holders before remvoing his trial deck once more and placing it in it's position on his duel disk.
The holographic capabilities on his duel disk activated and Zane felt something connect to his very soul. He shook the thought away and drew six cards. Glancing over his hand before starting his turn.
"I set one spell or trap and summon Cyber Valley."
Cyber Valley Attrib: Light Type: Machine/Effect Level:1 Atk: 0 Def: 0 •When this card is selected as an attack target by an opponent's monster you can remove this card from play to draw 1 cad and end the Battle Phase. •You can remove from play this card and 1 face-up monster you control and draw 2 cards. •You can remove from play this card and 1 card from your hand, and place 1 card from your Graveyard on top of your Deck.
The monster appeared with a roar and glanced at Demi's face down before settling down into a less fierce position. The light reflected off it's metal hide and blinded zane for a moment before he signalled the end of his turn to Demi.

Demi laughed gleefully and asked as she drew her next card, "How about a little introduction?" As she looked over the card, , she said, "And how about a little copycat move? I summon Cyber Valley in attack position!" As she said that, a copy of the metallic monster appeared on the field. "And now, my Cyber Valley will attack your Cyber Valley." Afterward, she nodded, "Your turn."
((Whatever you do, I am going to end.))

Zane nodded as Demi attacked. They both knew he was going to use the first effect of his monster in order to end the battle phase and draw a card from his deck. The monster roared and dissapeared from the field in a flash of blue light as Demi ended her turn.
Zane drew and glanced over his hand once more before summoning a second monster from his hand. This time it was a warrior with an exotic weapon in hand. As the monster was summoned it raised it's hand and sent a purple bolt towards Demi's face down spell or trap.
"Breaker! Destroy her face down!"
Breaker the Magical Warrior Attrib: Dark Type: Spellcaster/Effect Level:4 Atk: 1600 Def: 1000 When this card is Normal Summoned, put 1 Spell Counter on it (max. 1). This card gains 300 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.
"Now attack her Cyber Valley!"

Demi frowned as Solemn Judgment was destroyed. She had been hoping to save it for later, but there is no way she is going to pay 4000 life points to negate that summon. She smiled in a carefree manner and asked, "How about you give me your name? And of course, I am going to do a copycat move with that too." Cyber Valley disappeared after being removed from play, and Demi drew her card. "Anything else?"

"Ladies first" he said with a smirk as he set another card face down before ending his turn. The duel was going well so far, he could end up winning if he got the right card.

'Might as well have some fun with this, as well as testing his intelligence.' Demi thought before saying ,"My name? My name is the equivalent of the Latin prefix of half." After a mischievous giggle, she drew her card, "Wonder if you can get it?"
After setting a card in both the monster and m/t zone, she said, "It's all yours."

Zane smirked, Latin was one of the languages his father had forced upon him so very long ago in Hobart. He knew her name though he didn't understand why this duel was feeling so strange for him. Why was she spending so long on the issue of their names.
"Half. You're name is Demi? What's you're last?"
He drew again and summoned another monster from his hand.
Mechanicalchaser Attrib: Dark Type: Machine Level:4 Atk: 1850 Def: 800 A hunter that relentlessly pursues its target by order of the Machine King.
"Mechanicalchaser will attack the monster you set last turn, Breaker will attack the first one you set."
(( The attacks may or may not change ))

'At least now the duel is going somewhere.' She thought as Goblin Zombie gets sent to the graveyard, which means that she can add a Plagespreader Zombie to her hand. And as for the other monster, Pyramid Turtle gets destroyed, and she opted to special summon another Pyramid Turtle in defense.
Demi laughed when he gave the correct answer, due to the fact that she now knows that he actually has some intelligence at least. "As for my last name, it's French for 'the dead'. Can you get this one?"

"No." He replied bluntly as he set another card on his side of the field before signalling the end of his turn.

Demi pouted, but it was just an act though. She couldn't have expected him to be fluent in every language in the book. "Tis a shame, it's Lamorte. Now your name?" When she drew her next card, she knew that this turn is going to be big. "Two words, Heavy Storm, chains?"

((Last post of the day, I got to go.))
"Zebra Greene...." Demi replied in response to the so called hint. What kind of stupid hint was that anyways? "And another card to my hand, you shouldn't have. Now I got ammo for my next card." She grinned, "Lightning Vortex, discarding Morphing Jar, chains to that?"
