Usagi walked into the card shop. Despite not being that big of a duelist herself, Usagi enjoyed collecting cards. They artwork were fun to look, the card effects were interesting, and the feeling of making purchases just felt...nice. Well there wasn't any other way for her to say it. Buying Duel Monster cards was just nice.
Currently she found herself looking a case of fairy monsters. She enjoyed playing her fairies, but it might be time to change it up a little bit. Perhaps a deck based around angels or spellcaster?

Mari was back at the card shop. After her run-in with Raine, she has been looking at her old sub-deck, a Dark World deck, to be exact. Since he was possessed by Dark Horus and conquered it for now, it makes Mari wonder if it's a sign to go back to her own dark deck, or to avoid a dark deck all together. Either way, Mari has her Dark World deck with her and she is looking to upgrade it. If she does use it, it would be worth it to make it the best possible; and if not, she might be able to use the cards in another deck in the future.
While she was glancing at the fiend packs, Mari noticed that there is someone else there. Since she was in a social mood, she approached the other person and simply said, "Hello there."

Usagi was searching through the fairy packs when someone came up behind her. Surprised, Usagi jumped, almost dropping all of the cards she had in her hand. She swirled around to face the person. "Oh. H-hello." she greeted. "I-I didn't hear anyone else come in."

'Timid little thing, isn't she? Mari thought as she observed the other girl's reaction, 'Better be careful not to startle her in the future.'
Laughing casually, she told the other person, "Hello there, and relax, I don't bite." As soon as Mari said that, she sweat dropped, that was so stupidly cliche and unconvincing. She shook her head and wondered what has prompted her to say that. Letting out a soft sigh, she asked, "So, find anything that you need?"

Usagi would have laughed at the cliche remark if she wasn't trying to catch her breath somewhat. She took a closer look at the girl who was talking to her. She seemed harmless enough. Still, it always took Usagi a while to get used to someone. "N-nice to meet you." she replied.
Usagi looked down at the packs she held. They weren't anything special. Just a few fairy packs with a couple of fiend packs thrown in. "T-these seem nice enough. But I'm s-still not sure what to get. T-they all seem so nice."

Mari smiled, "Nice to meet you as well. Mari Ozawa, and your name?" She looked at the pack that the other girl was holding. Truth be told, she has no clue at all what those packs contain, so she just pulled a one-liner sage-like comment which she has heard before, "At the crossroads of life, if one is uncertain where one should go, it's best to let fate decide on one's path." After trying to keep a straight face as she said that, Mari bursted out laughing, "Sorry, that just came out of nowhere. But if you can't decide, why not just think upon what you want and ask the employees here if what you want are in the packs?"

"Usagi. U-Usagi Tsukina." Usagi introduced herself to Mari. She bowed slightly. "Pleasure meeting you." At the sage'like one liner, Usagi blinked in confusion. She was even more confused when Mari started to laugh. The shy girl giggled somewhat. "No, it sounded very wise. I I actually don't know what to get. I just think my fairy deck might need a little r-rebuilding. A-although I wouldn't mind getting some more S-Spirit cards." Usagi said.
"What about you? h-have you found anything?"

Fairy and spirit monsters, now those are two deck types that Mari has absolutely no experience in, and as such, she doesn't have much to input to the subject.
In response to Usagi's question, she responded, "Me? I just need to add some drawing power to my deck. And I am still looking, buying just the one card seems too expensive, but if I buy packs, I may or may not get what I need though." After pondering on it for a while, she added, "Well, I will just think of which one to get later, it's not like I am in any rush at the moment."

"Well maybe w-we could look around t-together. T-that way, if we found something t-that might help the other t-things might be easier." Usagi suggested. "Although. I-I don't mind just looking at the cards. I-I'm not much of a duelist a-anyways."

"Sure, let's look together then." Mari responded to Usagi's invitation. She had wanted to understand more deck types anyways, and this was a good opportunity to learn something. After looking for a while, she just realized that she has no clue what she is looking for. Turning to Usagi, she asked, "Ah... could you give me some guidelines as to what to look for? I have no experience with either of the deck types."

"Well," Usagi began, "Spirit cards are monsters that can't be special summoned and will return to the owner's hand at the end phase. Support card are generally cards that prevent your opponent either attacking or swarming you, since you'll obviously have a field disadvantage. Other good supports are those that help increase your life points." she explained.
"Fairy monsters are a little harder to run because there are so many different types of fairy decks."

[hope its ok to join in ] Alexa walked into the shop with a thoughtful expression on her face, after her loss at Yesibu Stadium she'd thought long and hard, and decided to completely re-design her deck. She'd spent the last few days researching different decks and had finally decided yesterday. She had a quite substantial fund for the cards, having not spent much recently, and had been building up a stockpile of unspent money in her bank account from her job - seeing as she still (embarassingly) lived with her mum, she had no mortgage or rent, and didn't eat extravagantly or buy a lot of luxuries it happened quite often. She walked over to the card catalogue and began picking cards out, as well as picking up a few boosters to bolster her collection. As she was going she noticed the other two in the shop and looked up "Hey there" she said, "What're you guys here looking for?" she asked

'Another person? The more the merrier, I guess.' The thought crossed Mari's mind as the new person entered the store, 'But maybe she can help us find the cards that we need.
Looking at the newcomer, she replied, "Well, I am looking for some drawing power for my new deck. Possibly Card of Safe Return and some Dark World Dealings? Usagi here is looking for some Spirit deck and fairy-type supports." As soon as she said that, an idea popped into her head.
Turning to Usagi, Mari said, "Oh, now I remember what that card is called. Spring of Rebirth. And perhaps some CED's and Forced Requisition would help?" She wasn't too sure about Forced Requisition though, but if her monsters are going to be bounced back to her hand every time she summons, she is going to have a big hand sooner or later. The problem is that Mari doesn't quite know for sure if Forced Requisition can trigger due to discarding for having too many cards in the hand.

Usagi stared at Mari for a minute. Blinking she asked, "F-Forced Requisiton? I haven't heard of that card be for. A-and what does CED stand for?" Usagi wasn't good with the technical or abbreviated terms of cards. Sometimes they confused her. A lot. Usagi then turned to the new girl. "It's a pleasure to meet you. What cards are you looking for?"

Mari blushed lightly and laughed, "Sorry, where are my manners. Hitting you with a barrage of questions and I still haven't introduced myself." She looked at the new girl and shook her hand, "Mari Ozawa, by the way."
In response to Usagi's questions, she replied, "CED is Compulsory Evacuation Device. It's a trap that sends a monster on the field back to its owner hand. As for Forced Requisition, the more I think about it, the more it doesn't fit. But each time you discard a card, your opponent has to discard as well. If your Spirit monsters are constantly bounced to your hand, you hand size would probably get to over 7, forcing you to discard." After thinking about it for a while, she added, "Ordeal or Fairy Box would work wonders as well, as well as Legacy of Yata-Garasu."
She trailed off, and smiled, a bit embarrassed, "Wow, I sound like an employee here, maybe I should get a job at this place..."
