"The raise isn't what intrigues me... though I won't have to worry about rent. The challenge is more interesting." She said, and there was a glimmer of fire in her blue eyes. She looked more... alive somehow.

"I'm so very glad you said that." He said, walking up to a black curtain and moving it aside once the reached the end of the hallway.
"Welcome to: The Reality Room. It's the newest project pioneered by Foresight Industries. It's not only a dueling simulation, but a true dueling experience that also lets you feel what the game of Duel Monsters is really about. It also has a few newer cards that have been thrown in and stuff, but for the most part, they're only updated to the last pack we came out with."

Shion's eyes stared at it in wonder as she listened to the description, completely flabbergasted. Then, she did something that was usually customary of a kid and not of a person working at the top company in the world.
"Oh cool." She stated with a laugh.

He laughed a bit too.
"You don't seem very interested. Come on in here, and I'll show you what this device is capable of."

"You kidding? I feel like a little kid at Christmas." She said with a grin and she went and followed him. "I love testing and tinkering with this kind of thing."

"It seems, Shee, as if I've possibly found your fancy. You won't believe this, though. Wait for it."
He took out his PDA, from his pocket holster, and brought it up to his lips before he spoke in code.
"Enter Simulation, Rainforest."
The climate seemed to suddenly get quite wet, but not too hot, just warm, and humid. Quickly following this, the room went pitch black although somewhere before this, Tyson clamped his fingers down on the edge of her shirt arm to make sure she didn't end up tripping over anything or something.
When the lights came on again, the entire room looked like a Rain Forest. They were in a small clearing inside it, no trees, but instead surrounded by them.
"How does it feel?" He asked her with a smirk. Of course, he still hasn't let go of the end of her shirt. He hadn't looked at the ground yet, and he'd rather not be sued.

"Amazing... really simply amazing." She said. "I never would've dreamed of anything like this." Of course, while she was admiring the scenery, her mind was racing a mile a minute. What did it look like on the outside of the simulation at the moment? Could people see the same things that they could? She barely even noticed him still having grip on her shirt as she looked around in wonder.
"How is this being released at first? I'm assuming in an arena-like setting." She commented.

"Because we could soooo put this in a box."
He smiled at her, "Yes, it would be in an Arena like setting. It would have to be installed by technician teams as well.
"Manual Override. Duel Arena, Appear."
In the blatant distance, a Duel Arena became visible where before there was simply distance. He looked to the ground, before groaning lightly.
"Uggh. The Technicians didn't clean up."
Simply for the fact of making it easier, he took her hand, guiding her in somewhat of a maze to get to the arena.
"I'll remember to remind them...sooner rather than later. Anyways, the Duel Arenas, as you can see are quite futuristic and slimmer, shapely, with good design.
If one were to look, they'd see two bars of metal about 20 paces away from each other.
Not exactly futuristic looking.

When she had her hand taken she finally realized just how much progress was to be taken on it. And as he went on about the futuristic look, she spotted the two bars of metal and chuckled a bit.
"Oh yes, extremely." she commented offhandedly.

He guided her over behind one of them, and with his free hand, waved it lightly over the bar of metal. It flickered, and up popped five cards, which wrapped around them both. A small deck like figure appeared in front of them, behind the 5 cards that were obviously your hand.
"Care to draw a card?"

She took her free hand (slowly dawning on why exactly she was holding his hand now that they were still holding hands) and put it towards the deck figure. It shot another card up into the air in front of them and she blinked.
"Interesting." she said as she clicked around the cards with her free hand, seeing what happened and where they went. She put up a test 'starting field' and then figured out how to take the stuff off the field, and bring things to the graveyard, and the whole business around it.

"As I said, Shee, futuristic." He smiled. "See any problems with it? Besides obvious doubt of it's futuristic properties?"

"Not that I can spot at the moment but give me a couple of hours with it sometime and I'll get some for you." She said with a wicked grin. "How do you change the decks with it? It seems like it would be just inconvenient if you were forced to run say a tele-D.A.D. all the time." She said. Yes she was using slang from the tournaments. No she did not care.

He smiled a bit. Glancing over to her.
"Do you remember those old style Card-Holsters? From way back?"

She looked over incredulously.
"Yeah, I remember those. Never had one myself. Why?"
